SchoolNet Africa
SchoolNet Africa is another success story for RITSEC. The program provides a network connecting schools in Africa and facilitates the use of educational content. SchoolNet Africa promotes the use of information and communication technologies in education at the national level, with an objective of building the framework for an Africa-wide information society.

The Arab Child Initiative continues to make significant contributions to childhood education in the region. Project director Ramzy sums up her feeling of optimism for the future: "When you get a smile from a kid in a village because she got to play on a computer, this is priceless. I am looking forward to seeing in the future a lot of kids from all over the Arab region equipped with these tools, using the technology, learning from it, enjoying it, and excelling at it!"

The Arab Child Initiative puts information and communication technologies and the knowledge of how to use those technologies in reach of Egyptian children throughout the country. Overcoming physical, economic, and educational barriers to access, the project provides the infrastructure from which children's creativity and imagination can take flight.
